3D-Gaming QL Beginners Duel Cup by Spire Corp.

3D-Gaming is proud to announce its very first Quake Live tournament sponsored by Spire Corp. and it's a special one too. This tournament is aimed at the beginners in QL Duel or players who still struggle with the gametype. The tournament will be held on Sunday, 22nd of July 2012 at 15:00 CEST and every European QL Duel player with a maximum QLRanks ELO of 1399 is allowed to play!

The rules are pretty simple, Double Elimination bracket with Best of One matches untill the Semi Finals of the Upper and the Lower Bracket. From there it's Best of Three. The matches will be played with default Quake Live Duel settings on european servers. The players can choose out of the three popular duel maps "Blood Run", "Campgrounds Redux" and "Furious Heights". We want as many players as possible to be able to participate so no Premium or Pro subscription for Quake Live is needed. In order to participate you have to register here on our homepage and add a QuakeLiveUsername to your profile, then you can choose the Cup-Tab in the navigation and sign up for the cup. You also will have to check-in before the cup, the check-in will be open 30 minutes before the actual cup launch.

The cup is sponsored by Spire Corp. the prizes will be made public during the week. A video Stream will be provided for the duration of the whole cup. Casters will be announced soon.
