After several hours of intense matches the final four were decided, k3phyr from Lithuania, morbias from Poland, the Swiss sonigo and Denmark's ulrich.
In the Upper Bracket Final ulrich managed to beat sonigo 2:1 and send him down into the Lower Bracket where he would face the winner of k3phyr vs. morbias for the chance to play in the Grand Final. The scores were 14:2, 1:14 and 10:6 in favour of ulrich.
At the same time k3phyr and morbias gave each other an intense match with the first map "Blood Run" going to morbias with 15 to 12. Second map was "Furious Heights", here k3phyr showed some nice in-control moves and won the map with 13:6. The decision came on "Campgrounds Redux" where morbias managed to win with 10 to 6.
Now morbias had to face sonigo in the Consolation Final. First map was Blood Run and sonigo won with a close score of 9:5. On the second map the Swiss showed his dominance and pulled out an impressive 11:2 on Furious Heights. sonigo winning 2:0 over morbias ment that the Grand Final would be a rematch of the UB-Final. Blood Run was the first map, picked by ulrich. The game ended with a much closer score but still ulrich managed to win his pick convincingly with 8:3. Second map was sonigo's pick and he managed to win it pretty easy with 6:1 on Furious Heights. The last map of the cup was Campgrounds Redux again. And the two contrahents showed us a great match with a total of 3 overtimes making the match last for 16 minutes instead of the normal 10. In the end it was ulrich who managed to controll his nerves better and make the right decisions to make it a final score of 6:4.
