Warsow 1.0 Released

After over 7 years of intense developement the free fast-phaced FPS "Warsow" has reached it's final release with the 1.0 version.

Warsow is set in a futuristic cyberpunk world where cyborgs, roboters and humanoid pigs fight for frags and points in small arenas. The game has very modern, cellshaded comic-graphics, a set of futuristic weapons and a very fast and open movement-system. You can dash, bunnyhop, strafejump and walljump your way trough the map giving you almost infinite possibilities for trickjumps and route-variations. A very important feature of Warsow is, that it's completely free and open-source. Also everyone can create their own servers to play online or via LAN with friends.

Everyone who liked fast shooters like "Challenge Pro Mode Arena" or "Painkiller" should definitely give Warsow a try, you won't be disappointed. Also players from slower shooters like "Quake Live" or "Unreal Tournament" can test Warsow, you might like the faster gameplay. The download is in the Link-Section of this news.

Normally there are a couple of populated servers at any time. Prime Time for Warsow is around 18:00-24:00 CEST.

Oh wow I used to play instagib dm with some friends during PC class because the beta ran on the school pcs and it also gave us good times at LAn parties although we're pretty bad at the game amused
Thought the game died or sth but I hope it gets bigger with the release nowcrazy

Warsow needs new players testing it, since the community is still quite small. At the moment it's the best time to test it since there are a lot of new players so you won't get stomped right away by the more experienced players. If you need help with config or have some general tipps about the game just write me a PM and I will help you as fast as I can.

I like the cartoon style the characters have gonna try this for sure since its free anyway tongue
