A small step for a DotA-team, but a big step for 3D-Gaming

Unfortunately there wasn't major changes regarding our member situation. In the last week we were short on time, because we had to concentrate on the tournament we signed in before. On Sunday we'll start with the tesgames and hope to continue our esport carrier without much delay!
We're still undefeated in the Starladder Amatuer Series (expect the one game with a false result...) and just qualified for round 3. (75% of the teams are already out).
Thanks to our standins xKm- and Tanne- we could participate on every game in the ES Dota tournament and after a a loss at the beginning we made it to place 2! We've won 5 ingame keys and 5 rare items, which will be shared with our standins of course. (tournament tree is in the links)
As soon as our lineup is ready, we'll participate on other small tournaments and spread our name to the DotA2 community.

The next news will be published, when I can announce our new members!

Things always seem to happen when you least expect them...

Today we got positive and negative aspect in our news. At first the negative part:

Tengri decided to leave our team. After a short performance overview on Monday, we decided that two of our members have to improve their skilllevel, one of them was Tengri. According to his reaction you could imagine that he'll leave us soon, but I expected him to stay until the short termed matches are done. Unfortnunately we got instantly deleted from the friendlist, so we no longer expect any perfomance of Tengri. I can understand his decision to leave the team, but I'm totally against the way he did.
We''ll start the search for a new player and hope to find a long-term member. Until that is done we'll try to survive through the planned matches with some standins.

The positiv part!
The first round of Starladder Amatuer Series VI is finished and we're (thanks to our standins xKm- and Tanne-) the undefeated winner of our group. The next round isn't announced yet, but we expect it to be on Sunday.

I'll start the search for an amateur-team at the same time we search for a new member and not as announced in the news from 08.05.2013.

Milestone 1 accomplished!

After our streak of 6 wins, we had to face our next opponent, iCCup! The name sounded familiar to us... too familiar. While researching the team we found out why we knew the name: iCCup belongs to the professional DotA2 teams and even has the opportunity to win the qualification of the International 3 and participate in the tournament. (worlds biggest DotA2 tournament with prices over a million $)
As expected they showed us our place in the match, but we still felt victorious, because we were allowed to face one of the top DotA2 teams.
Despite of the loss, our DotA2 team advanced to the ESL-Premier League and reached the highest ESL-league possible. I want to thank 3D-Gaming in the name of the DotA2 team for the support. Without you we wouldn't have been able to advance.

In addition to the gaming news, there are some changes in the team itself. We decided to improve our training and changed our appointments from Wednesday 19-21:30 and Sunday 15-21:30 to:

Monday: 19-21:30
Wednesday: 19-21:30
Thursday: 19-21:30
Sunday: 18-21:30

With this change we can expand our training duration by 2 hours and increase the regularity. Additionally to our training appointments, we'll participate in several leagues and cups.

Also we had to seperate us from our former teammember Freez, because of different reasons. I whish Freez much luck and success in his future carrier.
With that decision the slot of our stand-in is free again, but we already negotiated with a former teammember, who had to quit out of a lack of time.

What are our plans for the future?
We signed in for Starladder, which is the biggest DotA2-league, so we'll focus on this event most. The qualification begins on May 12 and we hope for much mental support through our stream!
For the ESL we decided to stay in the Premier-League and improve our ranking.

Starting in June I'll start to search for an amateur-DotA2-team. Everyone who is interested in joining this team or who knows someone who could be interested in joining can conact me in the forum our with a message on our homepage. I'll answer your request as soon as possible.
Following things are needed for the amateur-team:

- activity and periodic training
- monthly meeting of the captain with me and eventually the admins
- a fitting level of manners, some flaming is allowed (since everyone does it in DotA2), but there shouldn't appear complains about single teammembers!
- fun and the wish to improve in DotA2
- if a certain skilllevel is reached, the ability to help out the professional team (not needed but nice to have )

What do I offer?

- a nice clan-atmosphere with many different games
- a raidcall group with own channels
- a cooperative professional-team when it comes to question and public-games
- every advantage you get through the clan 3D-Gaming (detail in a personal talk)

I wish everyone who read the text-wall to the end a lot of fun while playing! (of course the rest too )

Greetings, Genwall

Edit: The Starladder qualification got postponed to the 15.05.

CS:S Team switches to CS:GO

Today on the 29th of April we can finally announce the Change of our Counter-Strike Source Team to Counter-Strike Global Offensive. After resisting "the Death of CSS" for a long Time we have finally arrived at that Point where all of the good and active Leagues have come to an End and no more good Tournaments are being sponsored.

This said we hereby announce that we will continue to work with our former CS:S Team instead of getting a new and already trained CS:GO Team. The starting Time might be hard but because of a very good Time with them until now we will continue to back them up further on.

This is what the Team said:

Today we want to announce some Changes in our Counter-Strike Source Team. After a quite succesfull GSH Lan Event we will now finally change to the current and active Counter-Strike Game named Global Offensive.

Already before attending the GSH Event we knew that we would change to CS:GO. But now the Moment has arrived where we have to say Goodbye to the Game we played for so long and we spend our Youth with. There are many Reasons for this including active Leagues, Tournaments with higher Prices and better/more overall Matchcoverage.

We will continue to play for 3D-Gaming because we had a very good Time until now and we don't want this to change. Thanks to the Clan for always believing in us, we could always count on you and we are proud to wear the Name and the Shirts of 3D-Gaming.

Sadly Don Kamilo will leave our Roster because he still wants to continue playing CS:S instead of switching over to the new CS:GO. Luckily with "ProfEssaH" we already have a Replacement for the Squad.

I present the first news of the new DotA 2-team. Our search for a standin ended with the acceptance of Tengri and not a second too late. Our position 5 player Freez had to skip training sessions because of time pressure and declared himself to the reserve just a day after we found Tengri.
For this reason Tengri was promoted to a full teammember and has proven his worth as a successor.

The first weeks in the clan 3D-Gaming were rather calm when it comes to the DotA team. We had to adjust us to the atmosphere of the clan and we had to find ourselves as a team to be able to face new challenges. The result was shown this sunday! We participated in our first 4players cup and lost right in the first real round. Our opponent belongs to the best 5 teams in the ESL Premier League, so the desperation wasn't that big.
To avoid a start in the new week with just a loss, we decided to play an ESL match afterwards and got our first competetive win with the new team.
In addition we made it to the ESL Main Divison and can now prove ourselves. At all events, there will be more exciting games and everyone can support us by watching the stream.

In the last few weeks and months several things happened around the SCII-team: Season VII of the SC2CL ended and we could crown the winner of our internal cup-series.

SC2CL

Some time ago I already reported that it would become close:
Three teams (Aposis, YAO and my3D) fought for the second place in division 2b. On the second last playday we could claim a clear 4:1 victory but on the last playday we would
have needed a 3:2 vidtory over team YAO to advance. Sadly luck wasn't on our side: glagtonold, AsaZZang and Abyss lost their 1v1 matches, only Cube and our 2v2 Team StarSLayer
and ZergLife could force their way through their opponents to set the final score at 2:3.
The final standings:

#

Squad

Pts

W-L-D

1

SupplyZero

36

9-0-0

2

TeamYAO Gaming

34 -1

7-2-0

3

Aposis

32

6-3-0

3

3D-Gaming Pro Team

32

6-3-0

5

Venom

31 -1

6-3-0

6

Clones-Inc

27

5-3-0

7

united-Teamworkers

17 -2

3-6-0

8

Pwning Without Remorse

0

0-7-0

8

Daymare eSports

0

0-7-0

10

BDB Sc2cl Squad 1

0 -5

0-7-0

Because YAO announced their retreat it is quite possible that Aposis will advance although they have the same amount of points as we have but they won in their match against us.
Heart of the Swarm will be played next season so I believe in a big advantage for our team because most players have been preparing for the Add-On for some time now.

Internal Cup

Last friday our internal cup series finished, consisting of 12 cups. That's the result:
Cube pushed to the top after making a close call with Abyss, winning our cup series! Third place is ZergLife.

Out line-up

Our squad welcomed new faces in the last few weeks but also had to bid farewell to some. Like you could see in the news PureFruit (Zerg) and AsaZZang (Protoss) joined us
and are full members by now. Through their consistent activity and victories in clan wars they could prove that they are a good addition to our Line-up.
Sadly we also had to say goodbye to two good players. One of them is Dante (Terran) who is headed into playing with iPlay to evolve his play there. The other one is ZergLife (Zerg)
who wants to go solo right now.

You can see our full lineup here or in the team section: http://www.sc2ranks.com/c/13553/my3d/

ESL

After the SC2CL finished we finally wanted to become active in ESL again. Yesterday we could claim a win against the B-squad of sgeht. AsaZZang, PureFruit and Calt could win 2:0, only
Cube was in an inferior position to his opponent. The 2v2 was forfeited by them making the final score 4:1.
All in all we're on the 28th place in the ESL clanwar ladder. Our goal is to get under the top 10 which is in fact possible if we continue to stay this active!
During the next few weeks the team will try to build up as much synergy and teamwork as possible and work out a decent array of strategies for competitive play. They will also start playing in League of Legends own 5vs5 premade Ladder. Somewhere around the end of April the guys will start participating in online tournaments and leagues like ESL’s Go4LoL Cup and the EU West 5on5 Ladder.
3D-Gaming.LoL’s Mid Laner Ivan 'WTFProoF?!' N. on the subject:
Thank you Jens and haze for this opportunity!

I am also very thrilled to play with such awesome teammates in one team, the climate during our practice matches is very laid back, yet concentrated and I really love to play with them. As of now I am probably the weakest link in the team because of my lack of experience in LoL, but with the team now being complete, us picking up a regular training schedule and my teammates trusting in me I am 100 percent motivated to pick up my individual game and improve as much as I can in my role. I am also sure that my teammates will be helping me as good as they can to achieve my goals within the team and the game itself.
